Mowing is Public Policy
GOD DAMN
Every year our city allocates millions of dollars to mow the sides of hills, road medians, and vacant lots. Meanwhile, Ivy & Bittersweet grow rampant up trees and along fence lines; Lesser Celendine and Knotweed consume public parks.
There is a law on the books that requires keeping ‘grass, weeds or other rank vegetation’ below 1 foot ‘to keep rodent populations down,’ yet rats and mice notoriously thrive in alleys and docks.
We spend resources and time to WAGE WAR ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH.
WE REJECT OUR OWN BOUNTY.
What bad judgment we have had. Ach!
Look at this cheery guest! We simply must have them at our party!
